The Case state serves as a dedicated area where you can specify essential details such as surgery information, upload pertinent medical images, and enter patient information. You will find this section conveniently accessible in the top menu bar at all times.
Add Case - Initial information
In this section, you have the opportunity to input essential initial information. This includes selecting the procedure, specifying the surgery side, and setting the surgery date, among other details. Additionally, you can provide any relevant comments regarding the case. Please note that planning is limited to one procedure for one side at a time.
Add Case - Upload medical image
In this section, you have the capability to upload files, including the option to attach an X-ray or CT scan relevant to the case.
Beware: Ensure that your patient has given you his/her informed consent to share his/her data. Make sure that you upload data from the correct patient.
Upon uploading a CT scan, you will be presented with an image preview for your review and confirmation. Once you have verified the details, simply click the “Next” button to continue to the Add Case - Upload medical image section.
If you are uploading an X-ray, it is essential to configure it prior to initiating the planning process. This step is a prerequisite; planning cannot commence until this configuration is successfully completed.
Please refer to the Image Configuration section for more details on how to calibrate the image.
Add Case - Patient details
In this section, you have the opportunity to input or review patient information, which includes essential details such as the patient's name, birthdate, and gender, among others. If your DICOM image contains this information in its metadata, these fields will be automatically populated for your convenience.
By clicking the "Start Case" button, you confirm that all the entered information is accurate, thereby initiating the case and moving to the next state: Pre-Op.
