v1.4.1.2 | Advanced TKA Planning, Range of Motion & Collaborative Workflows
March 3, 2026
We are excited to announce a new PeekMed update packed with high-value features and clinical tools designed to enhance your surgical planning precision and team coordination.
2D/3D TKA Planning
We’ve expanded our planning capabilities to support 2D/3D Total Knee Arthroplasty (TKA). By uploading two X-ray images (AP and Lateral), the system now allows for a more comprehensive anatomical assessment. This 3D model provides a deeper understanding of the patient's morphology, ensuring more precise implant positioning and sizing.
Range of Motion for Shoulder Arthroplasty
Precision meets functional assessment. You can now evaluate the Range of Motion (ROM) for both Anatomical (ATSA) and Reverse Total Shoulder Arthroplasty (RTSA). This tool allows you to simulate movements and detect potential impingements before entering the OR, leading to better functional outcomes for your patients.
Enhanced Team Collaboration
We’ve improved how surgical teams work together. Now, multiple sales representatives are automatically linked to the same surgeon, allowing both to view and manage each other's cases. This ensures better coordination and seamless support for the surgeon’s planning needs.
Additional Improvements
We've implemented several enhancements throughout the platform to further improve performance and usability:
-
Smarter Image Configuration: To avoid presenting misleading information, the image configuration window now dynamically adapts, showing only the AP view for procedures that exclusively support that view.
-
Network Connectivity Alerts: The system now informs the user when network issues prevent changing twisted pin guide from being saved in Hallux Valgus (HVL).
-
Copy Refinements: Several system messages have been updated across the platform for better clarity and a more intuitive user experience.
These updates reflect our ongoing commitment to providing advanced, accurate, and user-friendly surgical planning tools. You can learn more about these improvements in the updated user manual.
