Tools

During the case planning, you can interact with the plan through a set of tools.

  • The Window Level (WL) and Window Width (WW) buttons exist to change and set the contrast and the brightness, respectively, in the medical image. Moving the mouse over the image viewer horizontally will change the value of the WL (Brightness and moving the mouse vertically will change the value of the WW (Contrast). The contrast and brightness are updated in real time and can be restored to the default values. These changes are only applicable to the 2D images. This option is available in Pre-op and Plan states.
  • The camera interaction button allows you to pan the camera (the button is not available for 2D representations, but the functionality is activated), zoom in the image, zoom out the image and fit the image to the screen, and rotate the camera.
  • The Orientation toggle button is only available to 3D image viewers. Through this button, you can select the desired view from which to view the image (such as the anterior view or superior view).
  • The MPR button becomes available when the Image Viewer is displaying a 3D model. This button exists because 2D image representations can supplement 3D model representations. In other words, if you have a 3D model, you can add a 2D representation of the 3D model to the image viewer. By clicking on this button, you can add the Coronal, Sagittal, and Axial perspectives, and Coronal and Axial views are shown by default. You can always close the 2D representation by clicking on the “X” button in the upper right corner. The 2D representation can also be expanded or decreased; however, only one window can be expanded at a time. In the pre-op state, MPR can also be used to view and change landmarks.
  • The References button allows you to hide/show the segmentation color of 2D models (only shown when applicable), and you can hide/show the axes that support the planning.
  • The Bones button allows you to show/hide some original fragments.
  • The Tools button allows you to add a ruler or an angle to verify the measurement. This option is only available if you plan on using 2D models.

Warning: Make sure to save the planning to avoid loss of data in case of failure of power or loss of internet connection.
