PeekMed allows you to create a small local image library so that you can quickly re-use a previously imported image without having to go back to the original source.
By default, every time you import a new image you are prompted to choose if you want to add the image to this library or not. But this can be changed in Settings.
If you wish to import an image from this library you just have to select the option “Image Library” in the importation window, and select it from the list displayed.
It’s important to note that there is a maximum cache value for the library. This means that if this value is reached, you will not be able to add images to the library unless older studies are deleted. You can delete them manually by selecting the studies and then clicking “Delete”. Or have PeekMed delete the older ones until the minimum cache size is reached by clicking “Clean”.
You can change the minimum and maximum cache values in Settings.
